Mindfulness Seminars for Parents

Raising kids is far more challenging in the 21st century given how the world has changed since 9/11. Anxiety has risen to epidemic proportions among students and parents. Mindfulness practices have been proven to help folks move from a position of reactivity to one of more thoughtful responsiveness.

The Nora School is offering four Monday night sessions in October based on the Mindfulness Curriculum taught to all Nora students as a way of helping them deal with the stresses of adolescence in healthy and productive ways. Learn how to use mindfulness to reduce stress, calm anxiety, reduce depression, and generally allow more skillful responses to life’s difficulties.

The sessions are every Monday from October 2 to 24, 2017 starting at 7:30pm in The Nora School Main Hall.
